Imani J. Walker began their work experience in 2009 as a Fellow at the Sepulveda VA-UCLA Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program. Imani J. Walker has an extensive education history. In 1993, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology-Premedicine from Xavier University of Louisiana. Following that, from 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Science in Public Health (M.S.P.H) degree in Parasitology at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
In 2000, Imani began their medical studies at the New York Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree in Medicine in 2004. After completing their medical degree, they embarked on a one-year residency internship in Psychiatry at Temple University Medical Center from 2004 to 2005, during which they focused on the field of Psychiatry.
From 2005 to 2009, they pursued further specialization in Psychiatry by completing a residency program at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Their commitment to education continued as they participated in a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Sepulveda VA-UCLA from 2009 to 2010. Although the specific degree obtained during this period is not mentioned, it is evident that their expertise in the field of Forensic Psychiatry was enhanced during this fellowship.
