Yong Sing You

Yong Sing You is a Staff Data Scientist at Ario since October 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at Samba TV where research focused on perceptual image hashing and enhancing video content matching. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University, where investigations into strong field dynamics in semiconductors resulted in publications in prestigious journals and presentations at international conferences. Yong Sing You also automated image-based data workflows, significantly enhancing experimental efficiency. Earlier roles involved imaging and data analysis of terahertz emissions at the University of Maryland, where Yong Sing You held two postdoctoral positions and worked as a Research Assistant, in addition to serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Yong Sing You holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from National Taiwan Normal University.
