Katherine Walters is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic operations within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff at Gather Health since June 2022, Katherine has held various senior leadership roles, including Director of Operations at ChenMed and Network Operations Manager at Cigna-HealthSpring. An advocate for improving operational efficiency, Katherine has successfully managed impactful projects, such as Pennsylvania’s application for Value Based Insurance Design. Katherine's earlier career includes research work at the Martindale Center for the Study of Private Enterprise and Lehigh University's Neural Engineering Lab, alongside a strong educational foundation with a Master of Engineering in Healthcare Systems Engineering and an Integrated Degree in Bioengineering and Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University.
