Jack Du

Jack Du is the current Head of Finance & Biz Ops at Gather. Prior to this, they worked as Strategic Finance for New Business Verticals at DoorDash from June 2019 to April 2021. Jack's responsibilities included Cloud Kitchens, Warehouses, Convenience, and Grocery. Jack Du has also worked as an Equity Research Associate at Morgan Stanley from June 2018 to February 2019, where they were in charge of Vertical Software and IT Services. Furthermore, they have also worked as an Investment Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from July 2016 to May 2018, where they were responsible for Structured U.S. Equity. Additionally, Jack Du has experience as a Research Assistant at Harvard Business School from March 2016 to September 2016, where they worked under Professor Boudreau in the Digital Innovation, Economics and Strategy Department. Some of their duties included reading through academic journals, interviewing industry experts, conducting cross-sectional and time-series analysis, and synthesizing research into reports. Jack Du has also been a Teaching Assistant at Brown University Economics Department from June 2013 to May 2015.

Jack Du completed high school at Plano Senior High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University.
