Safety Innovation at Gatik

Adam Campbell has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2021, they joined Gatik as Senior Manager, Safety Innovation and Impact, directing an industry-first autonomous vehicle safety innovation program. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at -30- Forensic Engineering, where they held various roles, including Practice Lead and Senior Associate, Human Factors & Personal Injury, conducting and supervising the multi-disciplinary technical analysis of human performance in personal injury and MVA cases for the legal and insurance industries. Adam was also a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Waterloo from 2016. In 2013, they founded Goodio.com, a venture to make higher education and academia more transparent and accessible. In 2004, they were drafted by the Boston Red Sox.

Adam Campbell obtained their Bachelors of Kinesiology from The University of British Columbia between 2001 and 2006, focusing on Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Human Physiology and Anatomy. Adam then went on to pursue a PhD from The University of British Columbia between 2006 and 2012, focusing on Kinesiology, Neuromechanics, Motor Control, Biomechanics and Postural Control.
