Lucy Kimani

Lucy Kimani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and government relations within the aquaculture sector across East Africa. Currently serving as Program Director at Gatsby Africa since April 2022, Lucy leads a dynamic team focused on sustainable economic growth through the implementation of successful aquaculture models. Previously, Lucy held the role of Deputy Director for Strategy and Government Relations at Gatsby Africa, where significant partnerships were forged to address regulatory challenges. With a background that includes roles such as Government Relations Manager at Msingi East Africa and County Lead at DFID, Lucy has consistently demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and fostering inclusive development initiatives. Lucy's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Public Policy and Programme Management from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Nairobi.
