Mark Spickett

Mark Spickett has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Mark is currently the Head of Legal at Gattaca, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Commercial and Legal Counsel at Gattaca from August 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining Gattaca, Mark worked as a Legal Counsel at Vattenfall from February 2019 to August 2019. Mark also served as a Commercial Lawyer at Siemens from February 2017 to February 2019 and as a Legal Manager at Randstad UK from March 2014 to February 2017.

Mark began their legal career at Steele Raymond LLP, where they held various roles. Mark was a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department, handling a wide range of cases including Contractual Disputes, Construction and Engineering Disputes, Professional Negligence Disputes, Property Disputes, I.T and Telecommunications Disputes, and Commercial Debt Recovery. Mark held this position from December 2011 to March 2014. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Solicitor from April 2011 to December 2011, an Assistant Solicitor from February 2008 to April 2011, and a Trainee Solicitor from August 2006 to February 2008.

Additionally, Mark gained experience as a Placement Student at Steele Raymond LLP from September 2003 to August 2004.

Mark Spickett attended Southampton City College from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate degree. Mark then went on to Bournemouth University, where they obtained their LLB in Business Law from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, they completed their Legal Practice Course at Bournemouth University in 2005 and 2006.
