Amanda Jakes

Amanda Jakes has a strong and extensive work experience in the finance and advisory sectors. Amanda started their career in 1993 at PwC UK, where they held various roles including in Assurance, Business Recovery Services, and Corporate Finance. During their time at PwC, they specialized in the Sport & Leisure sector. Amanda also completed a two-year secondment for a start-up company, where they served as the Director of Operations for a leisure capital project. In 2017, Amanda joined Gatwick Airport as a Senior Finance Business Partner and later became the Head of Finance Business Partnering. Amanda'sexpertise lies in delivering professional services to high-profile clients in the Sport and Leisure industry.

Amanda Jakes attended the University of Southampton from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a BSc in Business Economics & Accounting. Amanda then went on to attend the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained their CA (Chartered Accountant) degree.
