Götz Nink

Chief Technical Officer CTO at GATX

Götz Nink has extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Götz is currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at GATX Rail Europe since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bombardier Transportation GmbH from 2018 to 2021, holding the position of Head of Locomotive maintenance for the BeNeLux, France, Germany, and East Europe regions. Götz also held the role of Head of Locomotive maintenance for France & BeNeLux at Bombardier Transport France from 2017 to 2018.

Before joining Bombardier, Götz Nink worked at Bombardier Transportation from 2009 to 2017. Götz served as the Head of Bids for France, Benelux, and North Africa and also worked as a Bid Manager for France/Benelux. Prior to Bombardier, they worked at Siemens Transportation Systems S.A.S. as Responsible for the supply chain for Tramway project and at Airlog GmbH as a Project Assistant, where they conducted feasibility studies and optimized material flow and warehouses. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern Product Manager at Daimler in 2005.

Götz Nink began their education in 2002 at TU Dortmund University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Engineering. Götz successfully completed their studies in this field in 2008 after six years of dedicated learning. In 2007, Götz also briefly attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, specializing in Industrial Engineering. However, it is not specified if they obtained a degree in this subject.
