John Toth

John Toth is a seasoned finance executive and board member with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Managing Director and Operating Partner at Gauge Capital, John Toth supports governance and finance leadership for portfolio companies. Previous roles include Independent Board Director at Phoenix Tapware and VMG Partners, as well as Interim & Transformational CFO for multiple growth-stage and private equity-backed companies. John Toth also played a significant role as CFO at BARK, leading a successful $1.6 billion IPO, and has held CFO positions at HotChalk, ARC Document Solutions, Bell-Carter Foods, and Fresh Express. John Toth holds a MA in Economics and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University.
