Marwan Salem

Marwan Salem is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing and executing turnaround and restructuring operations across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Operating Partner at Golub Capital since November 2023, Marwan previously held the position of Managing Director in the Credit Special Situations Group at Blackstone from November 2021 to November 2023. Prior roles include Managing Director of Global Operations at Hudson Advisors L.P. and Director of Turnaround and Interim Management Services at Challenger Advisors, LLC. Marwan's career began in financial advisory roles at XRoads Solutions Group, AlixPartners, Deloitte, and EY, showcasing a strong foundation in corporate restructuring. Marwan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with double majors in Finance and Economics from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, completed in 1999.
