Nomusa Khumalo is currently working as a Grade 5 and 7 educator at Gauteng Department of Education since January 2022. Nomusa is also an isiZulu teacher at the same institution. Nomusa has been a camp counselor, facilitator, and tutor at Camp Sizanani Life Skills since February 2019. Nomusa is passionate about their role as a Volunteer Life Skills Vochelli, where Nomusa can positively impact the lives of young people. Nomusa will also work as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Starlight from June 2023 to September 2023. With a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Johannesburg and ongoing education in Inclusive Education and Project Management, Nomusa is committed to enhancing their skills in education and training.

The Gauteng Department of Education is a provincial government department under the Gauteng Provincial Government responsible for overseeing and regulating the basic education system in the Gauteng province of South Africa in accordance with the South African Schools Act of 1996.
