Andrea Harrison

Andrea Harrison is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in both consulting and executive roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Finance Consultant at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since December 2020, Andrea is also a Consultant CFO at CHAIN Biotechnology Ltd from June 2024. Previously, significant contributions were made as a Non Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust from January 2017 to December 2023, as well as a Consultant CFO at Kinomica from October 2020 to March 2022. Notably, Andrea had a long tenure at AstraZeneca from 1994 to September 2020, holding several leadership positions including Transformation Leader in Digital Health R&D, VP of Transformation for R&D, and VP Finance for Global Medicines Development. Andrea began a career at PwC as an Audit Supervisor from September 1990 to 1994. Educational credentials include an ACA from ICAEW, a BSc(Hons) in Accounting & Financial Management from Loughborough University, and further studies at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.
