Mathew Smith

Mathew Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and data center solutions. Currently serving as Director of Hyperscale Pre-Development and Construction for the IDC Platform in Asia (Ex-China) at Gaw Capital since December 2021, Mathew has previously led projects at CBRE as Director of Projects APAC for Data Centre Solutions from January 2020 to December 2021. Prior roles include National Field Service Manager at Eaton, NSW Service Power Manager at Vertiv, and various positions at Emerson Network Power, including NSW Power - Service Manager, National Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Mathew holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Project Management and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wollong TAFE.
