Gaddis previously founded and led T3 (The Think Tank), which became the largest independent female-owned advertising agency in the U.S. Additionally, Gaddis is actively involved in various leadership roles, including Chairman of the Communications Committee for the Texas Cultural Trust and former Chairman of the Texas Business Leadership Council. A recognized speaker and author of "Cowgirl Power: How to Kick Ass in Business and Life," Gaddis continues to influence the next generation of business leaders through their extensive experience and commitment to promoting women in leadership roles. Gaddis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.

In 1989, Gay Gaddis created a new breed of agency, T3 (The Think Tank), an innovative digital marketing agency that grew into the largest independent female-owned agency in the U.S., under Gay’s leadership for more than 30 years. Today, Gay is focusing her always-on energy to empower entrepreneurs and the next generation of women business leaders to take big leaps in their careers and lives. She is an active speaker on women’s leadership, company culture and entrepreneurship. Her book, Cowgirl Power: How to Kick Ass in Business & Life, shares insights and examples for women to develop personal power and lead like fearless cowgirls. Gay is a contributor to Forbes and Fortune, and recently founded "Women Who Mean Business," a women's development program that she co-teaches at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Gay has received numerous awards including the University of Texas McCombs School of Business 2020 Hall of Fame, he Liz Carpenter Lifetime Achievement Award, Fast Company's Top 25 Women Business Builders, Inc. Magazine's Top 10 Entrepreneurs of the Year and C200's Luminary Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence. As an artist, Gay's bold and vibrant paintings have been been featured in several galleries around the country including New York City, Houston, Austin and Santa Fe. Texas Monthly honored Gay as one of “10 Artists to Collect Now” and her artwork has been recognized by Paper magazine as one of “10 Must-See Art Show Openings,” Artnet in “What I buy and Why” and Tribeza magazine. Gay and her husband own and operate the historic Double Heart Ranch in the Texas Hill Country, home to Gay's private art studio and gallery, Fossil Ridge.
