Lisa Wormsbecher, MSc, currently serves as a Specialist in On-Farm Sustainability and Animal Welfare at Gay Lea Foods since September 2021, previously holding the role of Animal Care Specialist/Dairy Goat Member Services. Prior to this position, Lisa spent five years at Conestoga Meats as a Livestock and Meat Quality Coordinator, where responsibilities included project coordination, liaising with research organizations, managing technical equipment quality, and developing humane handling programs. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Animal Biology, both from the University of Guelph.
