Luisa Melo

Luisa Melo has extensive experience in quality assurance and food safety, currently serving as the Corporate QA Manager at Gay Lea Foods since September 2015, where responsibilities include supporting Quality Control and Operations as part of the Management Team. Prior roles include QA and Food Safety Systems Manager at CHUDLEIGH’S LTD, and QA Coordinator, overseeing regulatory affairs and compliance for a company with 150 employees. Luisa's experience also encompasses positions at Skjodt-Barrett, where significant contributions were made in regulatory administration and raw material coordination. Additionally, Luisa has implemented GMP and HACCP programs as a Consultant for various food establishments. Luisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Universidad de Los Andes.
