Sara Abe

Sara Abe has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sara currently holds the position of Vice President, Commercial Capabilities & Marketing at Gay Lea Foods, a role they have been in since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director, Commercial Capabilities and Marketing at the same company from May 2022 to September 2023. Before joining Gay Lea Foods, Sara worked at Hershey Canada, where they held various positions including Senior Manager, Category Strategy and Insights, Marketing Manager, Snacking and Oh Henry!, and National Account Manager, Loblaws. Sara also has experience working at Mattel, Inc. as a National Account Manager and at BOOM! Marketing as an Account Manager. Early in their career, they had roles at Richard Ivey School of Business as an Associate Market Analyst and at NBA Canada as a Marketing Assistant.

Sara Abe completed a BA in Psychology at Western University from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Post-Grad Certificate in Public Relations & Corporate Communications at Fanshawe College from 1998 to 1999.
