Christine Babina has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christine started their career as a High-Tech Clinical Manager at United Home Care in 1990 and held various roles within the company, including Weekend/After Hours Clinical Supervisor/Case Manager and Reimbursement/Intake Specialist. In 1998, they worked as a Case Manager at Shady Knoll Health Center, where they facilitated interdisciplinary team meetings and established relationships with managed care companies. In 2000, Christine became the Director of Quality Assurance at J.P. Rogers & Associates Home Care, ensuring accuracy of documentation and adherence to guidelines. Christine also served as the Director of Case Management at Lord Chamberlain Nursing & Rehabilitation during the same period, where they worked closely with staff and administration to provide timely services to patients and advocated for managed care patients. In 2003, they worked as a Corporate Contract Negotiator at Ryder's Health Management, where they were responsible for data mining, contract updates, and rate negotiation. In 2004, Christine took on the role of Case Manager (per diem) at St. Vincent's Medical Center, where they secured payor authorizations and arranged transition of care. Christine eventually became the Director of Case Management & Social Work at the same organization in 2006, overseeing a large staff and managing an annual budget. From 2010 to 2014, Christine worked at Accretive Health as a Senior Manager, with responsibilities including appeals authoring and problem-solving complex denials for clients. Christine also served as the Interim Director of Appeals during that time. In 2015, Christine became the Director of Medical Management and CDI at Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group, Inc., where they remained until 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Care Management at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, starting in August 2017.

Christine Babina completed their education in various stages. Christine first attended St. Vincent's School of Nursing from 1977 to 1980, where they received a Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Following this, they attended the University of Hartford from 1980 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Most recently, Christine attended Sacred Heart University from 2016 to 2019, where they pursued a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Nurse Management and Executive Leadership.
