Katie Joly

Katie Joly is an experienced professional in the field of therapeutic recreation and sports management, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Southern Connecticut State University since August 2021. In addition to academic responsibilities, Katie Joly has held various positions at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare since January 2001, including Sports Association Program Manager, where management of an adaptive sports program for individuals with physical disabilities is directed. Previous roles include serving as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at major healthcare facilities and leading recreation initiatives at Kindred Healthcare and Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. Katie Joly holds a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Connecticut.
