Cindy Saunders, M.S., CMP, is an accomplished professional in event planning and management, currently serving as the Director of Event Planning at Gaylord Hotels since March 2018, where leadership of a high-performing Catering and Events Services team has driven business growth with a focus on brand image and customer experience. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company from April 2012 to March 2018, such as Event Services Director, where significant enhancements in communication strategies and event execution were realized across multiple venues, and Wedding Sales Director, achieving $26M in annual revenue. Cindy's entrepreneurial experience includes founding Signature Weddings and Events, and earlier roles at Gaylord Hotels contributed to establishing key service standards and revenue generation strategies for executive meetings. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
