Elien Van Wynsberghe is an experienced freelance journalist currently contributing to Gazet van Antwerpen and MappaLibri since May 2015. Prior to this role, Elien gained experience as a horeca medewerkster at Cafématic from November 2012 to February 2016, and volunteered as an English teacher at a local primary school/orphanage for underprivileged children with UBELONG in September 2014. An internship at Vlabin-vbc De Leeswolf/De Leeswelp in July and August 2014 involved writing reviews and articles. Additionally, Elien held positions as a fundraiser for Amnesty International and WWF in 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Journalism from KU Leuven, a Master's degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Antwerp, participation in the Erasmus program at Université Paris-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature (French & Dutch) from the University of Antwerp.
