Hannes van Gael

Hannes Van Gael is an experienced journalist with a strong background in sports reporting. Currently serving as an online journalist for Gazet van Antwerpen since December 2020, Hannes has previously worked as a freelance journalist for Voetbalkrant, covering various high-profile events including the Jupiler Pro League and international tournaments. Additionally, Hannes has experience as a sport and video journalist for RTV | TV PLUS Kempen Mechelen, and as a web editor at Golazo, specializing in live match reporting. Initial training as a web editor at Roularta Media Group laid the foundation for Hannes's writing and interview skills. Hannes holds degrees from KU Leuven, completed between 2012 and 2018.
