Thomas Franken

Thomas Franken is a freelance redacteur at Gazet van Antwerpen since April 2019, with prior experience as a freelance journalist for RTV | TV PLUS Kempen Mechelen from June 2019 to March 2020 and as a reporter at C.H.I.P.S. StampMedia between March 2018 and March 2020. Thomas has also worked in social media for KVC Westerlo from September 2017 to September 2018 and completed an internship at VRT in May to July 2018. Prior to this, Thomas served as a fundraiser at Pepperminds Belgium from September 2015 to May 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Journalism from KU Leuven (2017-2018), an Erasmus degree in Translation and Interpretation from ISIT (2016-2017), and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Language Studies from KU Leuven (2014-2017). Thomas's foundational education was completed at Moretus Ekeren from 2008 to 2014.
