Joel Rosenblatt is an experienced investigative reporter currently working at Gazetteer since March 2024, covering the complex dynamics of San Francisco encompassing finance, business, local law, and politics. Prior to this role, Joel dedicated 19 years to Bloomberg News, focusing on the influence and legal issues surrounding major technology companies, including Meta, X, TikTok, and others. Joel's journalism career began at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as a crime reporter, and earlier experience includes serving as a Peace Corps volunteer, where efforts were directed towards water and agriculture projects. Joel holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Occidental College.
