Rachid Amara

Rachid Amara is a Lead Thermal Engineer at GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) since February 2022, responsible for co-managing a thermal engineering team focused on cryogenic insulation simulations for LNG storage systems in ships. Prior to this role, Rachid served as a Thermal Engineer at LR Technologies until September 2024 and at ACS France as a R&D Cryogenics Engineer, where tasks included the design and sizing of cryogenic systems for particle accelerators. Experience also includes roles at Valeo and Scalian specializing in thermal modeling and research on automotive heat exchangers, as well as an internship at Airbus focused on thermal optimization of aircraft components. Rachid holds an engineering degree in Thermal and Energy Sciences from Polytech Nantes.
