Phil Rowland

Phil Rowland is the Director of Environmental Graphic Design at GBBN Architects, where effective use of visual note taking and storyboarding aids in the development of comprehensive strategies for wayfinding, signage, and donor recognition. Additionally, Phil operates You Are Here, which produces illustrations, installations, and exhibits throughout Ohio, collaborating with notable organizations such as the Cincinnati Museum Center. With freelance graphic design experience since 2007, Phil specializes in branding and information design. Phil's leadership roles include serving as Finance Director and GUTS Committee Chair at AIGA Cincinnati. Previous positions also include consulting for Procter & Gamble and Information Control Corporation and graphic design work for the Obama Campaign. Phil holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Columbus College of Art & Design.
