JP Schippert has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career in 1991 as a Controller at Kandel Transport/Cold Storage and affiliated companies, where they were responsible for financial management. From 2001 to 2007, they worked as a Finance Manager at Rubber Division, ACS.
In 2007, Schippert joined Delta Career Education as a Regional Accounting Manager, overseeing financial operations and playing a key role in budgeting and analysis. They also served as the Campus Director of Delta Career Education's Akron branch, where they managed staff, ensured compliance, and drove school objectives.
Schippert then transitioned to Community Support Services Inc in 2009, where they served as the Controller. In this role, they handled financial closing processes, managed a team, coordinated audits, and implemented cost-saving measures.
In 2010, Schippert returned to Delta Career Education as the Chief Internal Auditor, responsible for internal audit activities. From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Director of Online Academics and Career Services, leading online academic operations and student placement.
Schippert continued to expand their work experience as an Online Adjunct Instructor in Business and Accounting at McCann School of Business and Technology and Academy College. They then joined The College of Health Care Professions in 2017, initially serving as the Director Of Operations- Internal Audit & Compliance before becoming the Chief Financial Officer in 2018.
Currently, Schippert holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at GBS Corp, starting in 2022.
JP Schippert attended The University of Akron from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Additionally, they acquired certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio, though the specific duration and institution for this qualification are unknown.
