Alastair Paterson is an experienced executive in the field of cyber security and technology. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Harmonic Security since August 2023, Alastair focuses on reinventing data security for the AI era. Alastair is also a Board Member at GBx, where the emphasis is on supporting emerging entrepreneurs in the Bay Area. Prior to these roles, Alastair founded and led Digital Shadows as CEO from 2011 until its acquisition in 2022, successfully managing digital risk monitoring for organizations. Alastair's background includes significant positions at Detica, where responsibilities included international propositions management and consulting on cyber security and intelligence platforms, as well as roles at Hewlett-Packard and Imagination Technologies. Alastair holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
