Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in IP engineering and telecommunications. Currently serving as Engineer IV at GCI Communication Corp., Brian rapidly advanced through the ranks, demonstrating exceptional technical leadership and success in designing and deploying complex network infrastructures that improve availability, scalability, and security. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Alaska Railroad as Telecommunications Engineer I, where significant contributions were made in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications networks, enhancing connectivity and operational efficiency through the deployment of advanced IP/MPLS solutions. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and an Associate's degree in Telecommunications and Electronic Technology from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
