Randy F.

Randy F. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and data analysis. Randy currently works as a Software Engineer at GCS, a Geospatial IT Services Company. Prior to this, Randy worked as a Data Specialist at the Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research (ITRR) at the University of Montana. In this role, they designed data visualizations and graphics for survey data, as well as assisted in formatting data and automating survey tasks. Randy also has experience as a Research Assistant at the Flathead Lake Biological Station, where they collaborated with researchers to design and develop a machine learning approach for predicting the presence of aquatic invasive species. In this role, they gathered relevant data from a national database and utilized machine learning software to apply random forest and MaxEnt models to datasets.
