Diana Thom

Lead, Operations Support - Learning & Development at Global Container Terminals

Diana Thom has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Diana started their career at Cinnamon's Chocolates as an Assistant Manager, where they worked from October 2005 to September 2012. Diana then moved on to Port Metro Vancouver, initially as a Cruise Terminal Traffic Attendant from April 2010 to September 2012, and later as a Ground Transportation Coordinator from April 2013 to September 2013. Following this, Diana joined Ceres Terminals as an Access Control Officer and Administrative Assistant from April 2014 to September 2014. Diana then transitioned to GCT Global Container Terminals Inc., where they worked as a Customer Solutions Representative from August 2014 to March 2016, and as a N4 Upgrade Project - Customer Solutions Lead from September 2015 to March 2016. Diana also had a brief stint at Ceres Terminals as a Cruise Coordinator from April 2016 to December 2016. Diana'smost recent role was at GCT Global Container Terminals Inc., where they served as the Lead of Operations Support - Learning & Development, starting from December 2016.

Diana Thom completed their education at several institutions. Diana obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Service Management from the University of Victoria from 2012 to 2014. Diana also studied International Business at Krakow University of Economics in 2013. Before that, they pursued studies in Arts at The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2010 and Arts and Sciences, Business Administration at Capilano University from 2008 to 2011. Diana also studied Photography at Langara College from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Diana has obtained certifications in Occupational First Aid Level 1 from Trauma Tech in November 2015, Project Management Tools & Techniques – Level 1 Workshop from BCIT in 2015, and IMDG/TDG Transportation of Dangerous Goods from Global HazMat Inc in October 2014.
