Scott Andras has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Scott most recently worked as the Vice President of Global Sales at GCX starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Commercial Activities at O2 Concepts from June 2021 to June 2022.
Before their roles at GCX and O2 Concepts, Scott worked at BD, where they had two positions. Scott started in November 2010 as a Regional Sales Manager, leading sales teams and contributing to business unit strategies. Later, they became the Associate Director of Global Marketing & International Business Development, responsible for managing a global marketing team and expanding BD's Biosurgery business unit. Scott handled various responsibilities such as sales strategy, marketing strategy, business development, and product launches. Their tenure at BD lasted from November 2010 to June 2022.
Scott's earlier experiences include working as a Territory Sales Manager at Terumo Cardiovascular Group from September 2007 to November 2010. During their time there, they promoted surgical products, participated in cases, and educated surgeons and hospital staff on the product line. In addition, they worked as a Territory Sales Manager at Aesculap (US) from October 2005 to September 2007, collaborating with surgeons and OR directors to promote surgical products.
Scott started their career in the US Army as a Sergeant First Class, serving from 2000 to 2005. Scott was in charge of a Fire Support Platoon, responsible for the combat survivability and safety of troops, as well as the successful completion of assigned missions while deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in 2005.
Scott Andras has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Upper Iowa University. Scott also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University. In addition, Scott has completed an Executive Program in Global Business and an Executive Leadership Program in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School.
