Gideon Youn

Gideon Youn is the current Growth Operations Director at GCyber, a position they have held since October of 2022. Prior to their current role, Gideon served as the Strategic Programs Lead at GCyber from March of 2018 until October of 2022. Before their time at GCyber, Gideon worked as a Technical Lead at the company from April of 2016 until February of 2018.

Gideon's professional journey began in September of 2014 when they started as a Deskside Support Technician at NetCentrics. Gideon then took on the role of System Administrator at the company from February of 2015 until March of 2016. After leaving NetCentrics, Gideon spent two years as a Systems Administrator at SRA International from July of 2012 until September of 2014.

Gideon's career in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard began in May of 2007 and lasted until May of 2019. During their time in the military, Gideon served as a 25U - Signal Support Systems Specialist.

Gideon Youn holds a Bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Gideon also holds the 25U - Signal Support Systems Specialist qualification from Fort Gordon's Cyber Center of Excellence, and has completed the Advanced Leadership Course at the same institution. Additionally, they are a graduate of Air Assault School at Fort Benning's Warrior Training Center, and is certified as a Master Fitness Trainer (MFT) by the Army.
