Muneer Bakhsh

Muneer Bakhsh possesses extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry, currently serving as a Member of the National Committee for Military Industries since June 2024 and as the Chief Executive Officer at GDC Middle East since August 2018, where responsibilities include establishing aircraft manufacturing and MRO capabilities in the Kingdom. Bakhsh has held several key roles, including Chairman of the Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board at MEPC, and previously served as Director of Aeronautics at Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI). With a strong background in aerostructures, Bakhsh has led advanced aerospace composite facilities at TAQNIA and has held engineering positions at prominent companies such as Composite Design Solutions, Goodrich, Honda Aircraft Company, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Boeing. Muneer Bakhsh holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace/Aviation Management and Aerospace/Aviation Safety Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
