Tomas Michalek

Tomas Michalek has work experience as a SW developer at ERA, a.s. starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a researcher and developer in the domain of mathematical modeling and control design for dielectrophoresis-based micromanipulation at České vysoké učení technické v Praze, Fakulta elektrotechnická from October 2013 to December 2020. Tomas also had research project experience as a member of the MiNaRoB team at Institut FEMTO-ST from August 2017 to December 2017. Additionally, they had two summer research internships at AA4CC, České vysoké učení technické v Praze, Fakulta elektrotechnická, in July and August 2013, and July and August 2012, respectively.

Tomas Michalek began their education at SPSE a VOS Pardubice in 2006, where they studied electrical engineering and information technology. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Cybernetics and Robotics (Control Engineering) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. Tomas then went on to complete their Ing. degree in the same field and institution from 2013 to 2015. Tomas Michalek furthered their education by pursuing a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Robotics at the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2016 to 2020.
