David Brian

David began working in the electric utility industry some thirty years ago as a part time cooperative employee while attending Georgia Tech. During the course of his consulting career at GDS, David has managed a wide range of projects, assisting cooperative and municipal utilities across the country with buying and selling power. His work has included wholesale power supply analysis and contract negotiation, transmission access and pricing, risk management, wholesale and retail rates, and market power analysis. In addition, David has assisted clients with financial matters including power plant and transmission facilities acquisitions and financing.
