Matthew Donkersley

Matthew Donkersley has extensive experience in energy and carbon management, currently serving as the Energy and Carbon Manager for GDST since February 2023. Prior to this, Matthew held roles including Energy Management Officer at Reading Borough Council and Associate Director at Carbon Statement, where responsibilities included client relationship management and performance analysis in carbon emissions reduction. Previous positions also include Energy and Environment Manager at Costa Coffee, Strategic Energy Manager at Inenco Group, and Energy Efficiency Manager at Minimise Solutions Ltd, among others. Matthew possesses a strong educational background with an MSc in Managing The Environment and a BSc in Zoology, both from Prifysgol Aberystwyth University.
