Alexander Simpson possesses extensive experience in advanced engineering roles at GE Aviation, currently serving as an Executive Engineering leader for the RISE Program, which aims to enhance efficiency in the aviation industry. Prior to this, Alexander led efforts in hybrid electric propulsion systems and managed operations for the Aviation Engineering Division. Earlier experiences include leading a global team at GE Global Research focused on fluid dynamics and aerothermal technologies, alongside a tenure as a research scientist in alternative energy. Alexander holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a degree from The University of Western Australia.
