Brian Stephens

Brian Stephens is an accomplished leader in the aerospace industry with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as the Coatings Supply Chain Leader at GE Aerospace since January 2022, Brian oversees sourcing, quality, and engineering teams in manufacturing. Prior to this role, Brian held various positions at GE Aviation from June 2006 to January 2022, including Chief Engineer for Materials & Coatings and Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed technical and operational strategies for the Materials Engineering Organization. Brian has played a pivotal role in the development and certification of materials for the GE9X engine and has a background in systems engineering for rotating parts and composite materials development. Earlier experiences include roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati and a Materials Engineer at Brighton Technologies Group. Brian holds a Master of Science in Materials Science from the University of Cincinnati.
