Christian Apel

Christian Apel is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Additive Processes & Materials at GE Aerospace, with a focus on advanced ceramic applications and process development since July 2022. Christian also contributes as an Engineering Advisory Board Member at Centre College. Prior experience includes roles at North American Stainless as a Process Engineer and Quality Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed metallurgical engineering, quality control, and process supervision within the Cold Rolling Mill Operations Department. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Physics from Centre College.
