Donald Watkins

Donald Watkins is a Senior Software Architect at GE Aerospace, specializing in embedded software development for the 777x Avionics Platform Software Development team since September 2010. With extensive experience in software life cycle management, Donald provides technical guidance and leadership, mentoring engineers in requirements creation, model-based design, implementation, and software certification. Prior to GE Aerospace, Donald served as a Senior Software Applications Engineer at Dematic North America, managing software development for warehouse logistics solutions, and held positions at Bank of America and King County with a focus on information security and systems administration. Donald began a career in engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, complemented by advanced training at MIT xPRO in 2022.
