Evrim Erdogus

VP Of Software Engineering at GE Aerospace

Evrim Erdogus has extensive work experience in the technology industry, primarily with GE. Evrim began their career at Verscom as a Software Developer, where they designed and developed J2EE backbone applications for the telecommunication industry. Evrim also worked on web-based applications using JSP, PHP, and Coldfusion.

In 2008, Erdogus joined GE Aviation as a Software Engineer and Productivity Leader. Evrim managed several productivity projects and delivered business process improvement IT projects, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

Erdogus then progressed to roles such as Department Black Belt & Digitization Team Leader and Software Manager. In these positions, they led Lean Six Sigma teams, established yearly targets, mentored and certified Green Belt candidates, and managed and coached local and global software engineers. Evrim also created manufacturing cost optimization tools and established partnerships with GE US Digital Organizations.

In 2016, Erdogus became a Senior Director of Software Engineering at GE Aviation and subsequently assumed the role of VP - Software Engineering. In these roles, they served as an executive leader for GE Aviation Digital EMEA, leading and coaching senior directors, managers, and directors. Evrim also led the Agile Transformation and Operations processes.

In 2020, Erdogus moved to GE Digital as a VP - Software Engineering, GM GE Digital Turkiye. Here, they served as an executive leader, leading product development and delivery processes on AWS and Azure. Evrim also coached senior directors, managers, directors, and served as an Agile Transformation Leader.

Currently, Erdogus holds the position of VP of Software Engineering at GE Aerospace.

Evrim Erdogus studied at Bornova Anadolu Lisesi from 1991 to 1998. Later, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Evrim also earned a Black Belt certification from GE.
