Jim Karns

Jim Karns has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jim currently works as a Lead Sourcing Commodity Manager at GE Aerospace since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Supply Chain Manager at Shriners Children's Ohio from July 2022 to October 2022. Jim also has extensive experience as a Supply Chain Manager at Hearth Products Controls, where they were responsible for aligning procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. During their time at Hearth Products Controls from January 2005 to December 2021, they managed inventory worth $2M+, implemented effective stock rotation strategies, analyzed cost of goods and market trends, and negotiated purchases for high-quality products at the lowest costs. Jim began their career as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force from 1992 to 1996.

Jim Karns has completed career development courses at the United States Air Force. Jim also pursued general studies at Sinclair Community College.
