Kiara Schmidt

Kiara Schmidt is an engineer currently participating in the Edison Engineering Development Program at GE Aerospace since July 2024. With a strong background in material science and engineering from The Ohio State University, Kiara has gained extensive experience through various co-op positions at GE Aviation, focusing on ceramic matrix composites, environmental barrier coatings, and failure analysis on engine components. Previous roles include serving as a server/bartender at Local Cantina and a student manager at The Ohio State University, along with earlier positions at Amazon and Schmidt's Special Events.
