Kira Buell

Kira Buell is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in thermal systems design and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager for Thermal Systems Design at GE Aerospace since October 2021, Kira has previously held positions such as Staff Engineer and Advanced Lead Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes roles at Raytheon Technologies as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, and various engineering positions at GE Aviation, including Thermal Dynamics Engineer and Edison Engineer, where Kira completed multiple rotational assignments. Kira's career began with internships at GE Aviation and Renewable Energy Group, Inc., complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree from the University of Cincinnati.
