Shane McClure

Shane McClure is currently the Lead Gearbox Buyer at GE Aerospace, with a focus on commodity management, contract management, supplier relationships, and value generation. Previously, Shane held various roles during the Operations Management Leadership Program, including Post-Coat Production Coach and Lean Engineer, where responsibilities included driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, as well as managing work-in-progress across multiple product families. Experience also includes a technical internship at GE Aviation during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a supply chain management internship at Conwed that resulted in significant inventory reallocations. Earlier work at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems involved conducting a nationwide RFP and generating substantial savings through indirect purchasing. Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Bowling Green State University and has participated in a summer exchange program at Audencia.
