Paula Restrepo

Paula Restrepo is currently a Senior Advanced Quality Engineer at GE Appliances, a Haier company, since May 2023, having previously held the position of Advanced Quality Engineer. Prior to this role, Paula contributed as a Run Plant Engineer at Dow Performance Silicones from January 2021 to May 2023, where optimization of plant operations and resolution of process issues were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes a Continuous Improvement Intern position at Dow, where Paula facilitated training exercises and provided software demonstrations, as well as a Quality Co-Op role at GE Appliances, where data management and scrap reduction initiatives were successful. Paula's internship as a REU Undergraduate Research Intern at the University of Kentucky involved synthesizing polymeric nanocomposites and presenting research findings. Additional experience includes working as a Logistics Team Member at Office Depot. Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering from Florida International University.
