Christopher M. Babie

Christopher M. Babie is an accomplished professional in data protection and insider threat management, currently serving as the Director of Data Protection and Insider Threat Leader at GE Vernova since April 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure at GE Power from 2013 to 2022, where Christopher developed the Insider Threat program, led the Information Rights Management initiative for over 300,000 users, and directed the Active Directory consolidation project. Beginning a career at GE in the Information Management Leadership Program, Christopher migrated sales data to the Salesforce.com platform. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology & Web Science with a focus on Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completed between 2008 and 2011.
