Gregory Dreifus

Gregory Dreifus is an Edison Engineer at GE Vernova since February 2023, previously serving as the AI Policy Forum Coordinator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from August 2016 to February 2023, where coordination of research programs and public events on AI policy took place. Gregory's experience includes a role as a Graduate Student in the Mechanosynthesis Group at MIT, focusing on enhancing additive manufacturing processes through algorithm development. Prior research positions include serving as an ASTRO Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where involvement in the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility and the operation of advanced 3D printing systems occurred. Gregory also held internships with the US Department of Education and the office of Senator Chuck Schumer. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a combined BA/MA in Applied Mathematics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY.
